This prediction is more or less a joke but would be interesting if true.
Now, not many types of animals are featured in the books, (mostly just bunnies, birds, and wolves) But what if a "new" species was introduced to the story. This might actually happen, but not the species I'm thinking of: Humans.
This might ruin some of the integrity plot, but I'm not thinking a main character being human. How interesting would it be if Picket was just scared by a human walking past? It would tie together their world and our world.
That is so funny! Would humans be giants then?
elves or hobbits maybe?
I don’t think he would do it, he seems to like Natalia being separate from Earth. Plus, adding humans would make it a bit too much like Watership Down (where the rabbits are continuously running away from ‘murderous’ humans) for my taste—and I think for S. D. Smith’s, too. Large animals like Morbin and the dragons seem to be at the pinnacle of the size chart for now. Interesting idea, though. An AU of this would be so fun to read! “Picket Gets Zapped Into an Alternate Universe Where He Meets His Creator, S. D. Smith, Self-Proclaimed Award-Losing Author!!!!” 🤣
I have a feeling it won't happen but interesting theory!
I think it would be a great plot twist to the story.
XD, I've thought about this a lot. I also think about how "big" these rabbits are in comparison to humans. Like, is the "Great Wood" like a forest on a quarter in the middle of Kansas somewhere and the mountains are just some hills or something?
What a plot twist! I like the idea, especially considering some birds of prey are threatened and endangered, including many wolves, so maybe something like... horror: Humans feeding nestling eagles some chopped up rabbit meat, or just surprise: seeing these strange creatures capturing and releasing certain animals with microchips or collars or tags. Hey, maybe even hunters or people setting rabbit traps out. But, another thing to consider is that the rabbits are extremely fantastical, having swords and clothing, so the people may be the same way, and therefore used to seeing rabbits like that. One more thing, all the different species of animals can communicate perfectly with each other, so maybe humans can understand them as well in that fantasy world?? Just thoughts :)
Totally agree with you.
That'd certainly be surprising...
I know. Isabelle and I are neighbors. And we were talking about it yesterday.
That's a neat theory, but I'm not sure Mistah Smith would do that. But ya never know....
I'm sorry, but can you pay for my hospital bill? My jaw broke from dropping on the floor after I read your theory.
