I've been thinking about this. I have narrowed down who I think will betray in the final book. At first, I thought Whit might betray but then I thought again. He already joined it once then quit so I highly doubt he will betray again. Then, I don't know why I want a heir to betray, but I do, so I thought Winslow might betray, but he just almost died, soooooo I don't think he will betray. The one who I think will betray is either Heyena, or Colen. I thought this would be cool because here would finally be a rebel in the Blackstar family. But then again, they learned to fight because they lost their mother. The one who betrays will probably be the one we least expect. I also have been rereading Ember Rising and I remember now that there is at least one more heir. A girl, the princess, the sister of Emma. I am wondering what role she will play in he end. Will she be a traitor, or a hero, only Samuel Dale Smith knows. Except for maybe his agent and his fam. Also, thought on Flint's Sword and Fay's Book. I think the sword will kill Morbin and Fay's book will tame the dragons. That's just my personal thoughts.

I honestly don’t see that we need another betrayal with three overwhelming hostile forces poised to fall on First Warren and our heroes, but that’s just me.
I agree Ruth
I'm so tired of traitors. Mr. Smith, please no more! If there was another about-to-turn-traitor, however, I would guess another one of Emma's siblings. But who knows...
Is that his full name? I never knew! I think Tameth Seer would do anything for power, so he would probably betray Kylen (maybe he already has by poisoning him). I sincerely hope we're through with the good guys betraying their friends!
I feel like the Blackstars already had a lot of chances to turn traitor, so I don't suspect they will now. I expect the most critical loyalty changes will fall to the Terralains (never sure on that spelling), but there's always the unexpected element in Sam's books.
