I know that there are a good few of us on here who are Star Wars fans as well as Green Ember fans. As such, it’s kind of natural to occasionally have thoughts of two favorite franchises cross over a bit. One such thought, inspired partly by this and partly by memes that S.D. Smith himself has shared, is this. If lightsabers existed in the Green Ember world, who would have what colors?

This is based more on character alignment than any actual Star Wars lore.

Black

I figure that the starsword is essentially the Darksaber of the Green Ember universe. As such, the only ones to wield it would be-so far as we know-Flint, Lander, and Smalls.

Blue and Green

Probably the majority of rabbits, or at least those loyal to the rightful heirs of Flint and Jupiter. I could potentially see Helmer having a green blade since his canon sword has an emerald set in the hilt. Then again, his status as a Lord Captain may require something a bit more unique.

Orange

Not currently a canon lightsaber color. Might be good for an individual or group that’s somewhat exceptional.

Edit: As of the release of the trailer for the upcoming Ahsoka series, we now have canon orange-bladed lightsabers.

Purple

Helmer personally or the Lord Captains/Lords as a whole could be good candidates for purple blades. It could also be a good color for royals when they don’t have the starsword/Darksaber. Smalls would probably use a green or blue blade before his rescue at Jupiter’s Crossing though, so as to avoid revealing his true identity. Similarly, Whitbie would probably use a different color while serving under Captain Moonlight.

Red

Presumably the color of choice for all predators and avowed traitors. The Black Band, Grimble faction (after Vanguard’s wreck), and Wrongtreaders would all qualify. Of course, the likes of Bleston or Perkinson would either wield different colored blades or would have their blades change color upon being revealed as traitors. It wouldn’t do to have your true alignment exposed by your weapon.

White

Another good candidate for an exceptional individual or group, as only one Star Wars character is currently known to have this color.

Yellow

Another color that would probably fit an exceptional individual or group. In Star Wars, the yellow blades are prominently wielded by the Jedi Temple Guard. I feel like they might be a good choice for the Terralains.
