So...anyone else wondering if we'll see any female villains in the last book? All the named Preylords, wolves, and corrupt rabbits have been guys, and even the unnamed ones are almost always referred to as male. The closest we’ve gotten to a named dragon is their KING. Seems like there’s room for a bit of diversity.
Two of the Six-or Five, rather >:)-haven’t had their gender specified, so maybe one or both of them could be female.
I agree. I’d love for there to be at least one in The End.
I guess I just find the total absence of female characters on the villain side a bit perturbing. I know that the species of the Green Ember series don’t match up to their real world counterparts in a number of ways, but female raptors and wolves are hunters just as much as the male when it comes to the real thing.
I don't really care nor am I curious about this subject as S.D. will proceed with what matches his goals and the plot. In this day and age it's really popular to have the main villain be female so having a story without a female villain would be steering away from the modern cliché. I honestly don't think that it matters if the villains are all male or more diverse because it's just a story and in the end they will all hopefully be in-prisoned or dead anyways. :)
Honestly I'm not too concerned about what the bad guys (or girls, as it may be) are. Female villains are certainly possible, but in the end villains are villains. As long as they get what's coming to them, I'm happy.
You know what would be crazy, Emma turning bad!
I know it will never happen, but it would be intresting
I think there should be some.
