So, after reading about the final battle in the War for All Natalia-which reads a bit like the Battle of the Pelennor Fields, only with 900 Nazgul instead of 9-I’m even more puzzled about a historical aspect of the series. We’re told that King Jupiter fought a number of conflicts over the course of his life: namely, the ones I quoted in my post title. We know that Picket’s crazy acrobatics were a new thing, as were the subsequent additions of gliders. We also know that bowstrikers weren’t invented until some time before the Battle for First Warren, nor did the armies of King Jupiter have access to the Seventh District’s innovations.
So how in Natalia did Jupiter manage to win any battle, let alone NINE wars?!
I think it's also good to remember that we are overanalyzing a children's book (and I completely include myself in that "we"). Sam would probably say that that's something unimportant that the readers aren't supposed to think about.
